Escrow protection

Who actually controls the funds

The escrow structure separates commercial performance from control of buyer funds. Funds marked as locked cannot be released solely by a commercial instruction from Alghaf Marine.

Alghaf Marine

Cannot unilaterally release locked funds.

Escrow agent

Authorises release or refund under the Escrow Agreement.

Settlement operator

Technically executes authorised instructions only.

Buyer

Reviews documents and submits acceptance or objection.

What escrow does

  • Confirms the settlement account and locks funds
  • Checks fulfilment of release conditions
  • Executes release or refund and records every decision

What escrow does not do

  • Does not sell diesel or determine product quality
  • Does not amend the SPA or decide for the buyer
  • Does not release funds on a verbal Alghaf instruction

Digital settlement

Controlled digital settlement

Funding, locking, confirmation, staged release and refunds are recorded in the transaction ledger of the Alghaf Trading Portal.

Transaction-specific account

Each approved transaction is assigned a separate settlement account or transaction-specific wallet.

Wallet verification

Funds are accepted only from the buyer's pre-verified address; refunds go only to the approved return address.

Audit trail

Date, amount, asset, transaction hash, sender, status, release basis and supporting document — for every operation.

Supported settlement assets publicly referenced: USDT, USDC. The supported digital asset, blockchain network and transaction-specific settlement address are confirmed exclusively in the Trading Portal and contractual documents.
